Consent
If you sign up to our newsletter either on the bottom of the website, on the pop-up form or during checkout, we will send you e-mails about new releases, events, deals or important info. The e-mails will be sent until you unsubscribe from our newsletters, which you can do with the "Unsubscribe" link in the bottom of the e-mails.
Data protection
It is important that your personal information is processed and stored confidentially. Access to the registered personal data is limited to trusted employees and collaborators according to the regulatory rules of contract between the data controller and data processor.
Despite the increased control and security provided by Jane Kønig regarding the collection and processing of personal data, full security cannot be guaranteed for data transfer via the internet. When data is sent and stored electronically, there will always be a risk for a third party unjustly forcing access to protected data before it reaches our servers. So, while Jane Kønig tries to protect your data in the best way possible, we cannot guarantee the security of the actual transfer. You send your data at your own risk.
Your data will only be used for the purpose it was intended for and will be deleted when it is no longer relevant.
We use third parties to process your payment and handle your order (Shopify), to ship your order (Webshipper) and if you have chosen to receive our newsletter (Klaviyo).
GDPR
Any processing of personal data and personally sensitive data is subject to the new rules. According to the new rules, Jane Kønig is to be the data controller for the information that is registered about customers and visitors of www.janekoenig.com.
When placing an order, Jane Kønig collects the following information:

Phone number
Payment information
This information is collected in order to process your order. Your data is kept for 5 years.
If you have chosen to get your order shipped to you, your name, address, phone number and e-mail will be given to the shipping company responsible for transporting your package (usually GLS for orders in Denmark and DHL for orders outside of Denmark).
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that registers and saves your behaviour while using our website and saves your information as an individual.
We use cookies for:
