Payments
We accept payment by Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa Electron, Visa Mastercard, Mastercard Debit and JCB. All card payments are processed through Stripe or Epay’s encrypted SSL payment system for secure and confidential payment.
The amount will only be deducted from your card when your order has been processed and shipped from us. Use of our website and any purchase made by you will be accepted under the conditions laid down in Danish law.
Confirmation
Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email shortly after confirming that we have received your order. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, we recommend that you check your spam filter. When we ship your package, you will receive a shipment confirmation email.
Currency
All prices on www.janekoenig.com are current retail prices incl. 25% Danish VAT and are quoted in Euro (€).
Customs
When importing goods from Denmark some countries will impose an import VAT when the goods are going through customs.
The standard rate of import VAT that is imposed on the import of goods into China is 17%. This is calculated against the CIF value (Customs value + cost of insurance and freight).
Note: This import VAT is to be paid by the importer/buyer and not by the exporter/seller (Jane Koenig Copenhagen A/S).
Shipping rates and delivery time
We ship your order within 1-2 days and then it takes 2-4 business days for delivery. Note that customized goods like certain Lovetag jewellery and 14 and 18 carat jewellery will be shipped within 1-5 business days, and jewellery with hand-mounted diamonds and gems will be shipped within 5-10 business days.
We will send an email when your package is dispatched. When the shipping courier scans the package, you will receive another email with the tracking number that you can use to follow the package on ups.com. Tracking numbers from UPS start with 1Z and YN if its from GLS.
If you ordered private delivery/home delivery and your parcel is shipped with GLS, they will attempt to deliver the parcel once. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the parcel will be sent directly to a GLS Droppoint near you.

Insured package
All packages are sent as an insured parcel with a tracking number. In this way, we are able to track the package until it is delivered.
Exchanges and returns
If you wish to exchange or return your purchase, you have the full 30-day right of return, counting from the delivery date. You can exchange the jewellery for a voucher or return the jewellery and get your money back. The item must be returned in the same condition and in the same original jewellery box and packaging in which you received it.
Please note that we only will reimburse the return amount to the card which was used for the purchase.
Please note that Unika jewellery, as well as 2 and 3 tags Lovetag bracelets, cannot be returned as they are custom made items made especially for you.
Refunds
Once we receive your return package, we will process your package as quickly as possible within two weeks. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded the return amount to the card and the cardholder who originally made the purchase. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Claims
When you shop at www.janekoenig.com, you have a 24-month warranty. If you notice a defect or fault in your goods within 2 years after receiving the goods, you as a consumer are entitled to have the product repaired, or replaced if it cannot be repaired.
The complaint must be justified and the defect must not have been caused by misuse of the product or other damaging behaviour. You must complain within a “reasonable time” after you discovered the defect in the product. If you complain within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be within the warranty
